Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is an American model and actress. She is also a fashion designer model. Following a brief time as a model in the fashion industry and then a transition to acting by appearing as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s as well as High Incident. Her film debut came in the dramatic film Nowhere. After her performances in American Beauty (for which she won a BAFTA Award) and American Pie which brought her greater attention, she began the transition to major roles. In the following years, she appeared as the protagonist on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2000) along with American Pie star Jason Biggs.
